It has taken a lot of effort to find the right recipe, but the result is impressive! Sunbury Biltong and Droëwors is traditionally seasoned and prepared in the Netherlands.
We use the best quality meat, herbs, and spices. The choice of high-quality meat ensures an optimal taste experience.
The sliced Biltong is placed in a spice mixture for several hours. When the herbs are well-absorbed, the pieces are ready to be hanged. After about 8 days in the specially equipped climate room, the Sunbury Biltong is ready for consumption!
The Droëwors is full of authentic herbs and spices and is traditionally prepared with beef. When the herbs and meat are prepared, the Droëwors is hung up and naturally dried.

In Europe, the humidity conditions are higher than those of South Africa. That is why it is important that the Biltong is stored correctly.
Keep it cooled
It is best that you immediately put the Biltong in the refrigerator and keep it there until you want to consume it.
Do not place on or against each other
Do not seal it with plastic or foil and do not put it together. If you want the biltong to be a little dryer, place it outside the refrigerator in a place where the air circulates or ventilates well.
NEVER store or transport Biltong in a plastic bag, rather use a paper bag that will keep it dry.
